Privacy
Outs doesn’t know who you are. Your progress is kept in your own browser, and nothing about you is sent to us.
what is stored
Which lessons, explainers and cases you’ve finished, your best score in each drill and checkpoint, the questions you missed, with when each is next due for review, and what you answered in each daily spot. They’re saved in your browser’s local storage, on your device only, so the site can show your progress next time.
To delete them, use “reset progress” at the bottom of the home page, or clear this site’s data in your browser. Another browser or device starts fresh, unless you take your progress there yourself.
offline copies
So the site works without a connection, pages you open (and, if you ask on your progress, the whole course) are kept in this browser’s cache. They’re copies of the site’s own pages, nothing about you. Clearing this site’s data removes them.
moving progress
On your progress you can copy your progress as a link, a code or a file, and merge it into another browser. The code holds only what’s listed above. In a link it sits after the #, which browsers keep to themselves: it isn’t sent to us or to the host. Wherever you send the link (a message to yourself, say), that app sees it like any other text.
hands you replay
A hand history pasted into the hand replayer is read on the page and never sent anywhere or saved. Close the page and it’s gone.
what isn’t
- No account or sign-in.
- No cookies.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- No third-party requests: fonts and everything else are served by the site itself.
hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, it handles the technical details of each request (such as your IP address and browser) to deliver pages and keep the service secure. Vercel’s privacy policy ↗
if you write to us
“Report a mistake” opens your own email app. We only see what you choose to send.
